Women, Lions, Prayer and Human Trafficking: Christine Caine & Lisa Bevere in conversation

By Idelette McVicker

Christine Caine, author, speaker and founder of The A21 Campaign against human trafficking, released her weekly podcast yesterday, featuring a fun yet profound conversation with her good friend Lisa Bevere about women on the earth, strategic prayer, human trafficking and being “dangerously awake.”

Lisa Bevere’s brand-new book Lioness Arising: Wake Up and Change Your World is scheduled for release on September 21. Bevere relates the story of watching a lion and lioness who had been tranquilized and being told: “There is nothing more dangerous than being in the presence of lions when they are fully awake. Bevere adds: “I heard God say to me: The church is not dangerous and it is not fully awake. It is talking in its sleep.”

Their conversation also touched on being strategic, intelligent, passionate and purposeful in our prayers. “We need to wake up to what God is doing and begin to say what God is saying.”
