Sisterhood Monday: Interview with Sue Todd, Linwood House Ministries

On Bangkok, women in the sex trade, being a bridge and sharing our stories

Last week I did my first Skype interview with Sue Todd of Linwood House Ministries, who recently went to Bangkok with a team of five women on their sixth annual trip to this city. These women walked the streets of the Red Light District and went to many bars to be with women who work in Bangkok’s sex industry. They also spent time at the Home for New Beginnings, a ministry that reaches out to women who work in the bars and offer them a way out. Sue shows us what ordinary women who want to make a difference can do, when we partner with local women, so together we can be an answer to the many cries.
